Over the past few months, Sutran has brought its collections to life across multiple exhibitions, connecting directly with people who value style, self-expression, and craftsmanship. Here’s a snapshot of our journey:
1. Chetla Ground – 31st March to 7th April
Our First Exhibition
We launched the year with an exciting showcase at Chetla Ground. Visitors explored a variety of textures, colors, and drapes, discovering how Sutran sarees can reflect personal style. The event was full of curiosity, conversations, and connections that set the tone for the months ahead.
Highlight Moment: A visitor tried on three different sarees in one go, smiling as they found “the one that feels like me”—a perfect start to our exhibition journey.
2. Chander Haat Exhibition – 30th May to 1st June, Acropolis Mall, Kasba
Exploring Craft & Design
At Chander Haat, fashion enthusiasts engaged with our evolving collections. The intricate detailing and thoughtfully curated designs sparked meaningful interactions, helping visitors connect deeply with the Sutran experience.
Highlight Moment: One visitor commented, “I’ve never seen a saree like this—it tells a story!”—reminding us why we do what we do.
3. Bidhannagar Mela – 25th June to 13th July
Celebrating Individuality
Sutran captivated audiences at this vibrant mela. From flowing silks to versatile prints, every saree resonated with the wearer’s personality. The exhibition became a lively space for discovering elegance, comfort, and everyday wearability.
Highlight Moment: Families, friends, and first-time saree buyers all stopped by, with many returning on multiple days to explore new arrivals.
4. Lake Terrace Pop-Up – 25th July to 27th July
A Close-Up Experience
In a more intimate setting, visitors explored the textures, patterns, and finishes of our sarees up close. This exhibition highlighted how Sutran can seamlessly fit into personal style stories and wardrobes.
Highlight Moment: A visitor lingered over a handwoven piece, remarking, “It feels like it was made for me”—capturing the connection we aim to create with every saree.
5. India International Grand Trade Fair – 1st August to 18th August
Connecting with a Larger Audience
At this prestigious fair, Sutran reached new audiences—from long-time saree lovers to first-time buyers. The scale and diversity of the fair amplified the brand’s visibility and allowed meaningful engagement with visitors seeking quality and versatility.
Highlight Moment: Hundreds of visitors explored our collection, with many asking about customizations—proof that Sutran resonates with both style and individuality.
6. Art & Autumn by Kham Kheyal, Gallery Gold – 5th September to 7th September
Where Fashion Meets Art
Partnering with Kham Kheyal, this exhibition offered a sensory experience. Visitors explored the textures, colors, and designs of our sarees alongside complementary artworks, making it an immersive showcase of creativity.
Highlight Moment: Attendees paused between artworks to admire the sarees, treating them like pieces of art themselves—a perfect fusion of fashion and creativity.
7. Milan Sangha Mela at Lake Town – 21st October to 7th November
Celebrating Style & Connection
During this extended exhibition, Sutran engaged with a diverse crowd. The collection inspired conversations around elegance, individuality, and the joy of expressing oneself through carefully curated sarees.
Highlight Moment: A young visitor picked her first designer saree with her mother, saying, “I feel grown-up wearing this”—a touching reminder of our role in creating memorable experiences.
8. Bidhannagar Mela Utsav, Karunamoyee Book Fair Ground – 1st December to 21st December
Ending the Year on a Festive Note
Closing the year with this festive event, Sutran presented our latest collection to a warm audience. Visitors experienced the detailing, craftsmanship, and drape of each saree, leaving with a meaningful addition to their wardrobe.
Highlight Moment: Many visitors returned to share photos of themselves wearing Sutran sarees, celebrating confidence and individuality—a perfect end to a year of connection and creativity.
